Questions foreign founders ask first

Short answers here; each jurisdiction page goes deeper.

Which jurisdiction should I choose?

It depends on your customers, investors and banking. Delaware C-Corps suit US venture funding; Singapore suits regional headquarters with treaty access; Hong Kong suits trading with low, territorial tax; a WFOE is needed to operate and invoice inside mainland China. Our comparison page sets out the differences.

No. We show our fee and each government fee separately — for example S$315 to ACRA in Singapore, or HK$3,895 to the Hong Kong Companies Registry and IRD — and pass government fees through at cost.

Yes for registration and ongoing compliance: identity checks run by video call and documents are e-signed. Some banks require a visit or video interview for account opening, and China requires apostilled investor documents.

Top FDI Company Limited holds a Trust or Company Service Provider licence from the Hong Kong Companies Registry, and Top FDI Pte. Ltd. is registered with ACRA under Singapore's Corporate Service Providers Act. In China, bookkeeping is performed by our licensed agency bookkeeping firm.

Yes. We take over the company secretary, registered office or accounting of existing companies in all four jurisdictions, including catching up overdue filings.
